After contacting Khalid on from Invesp, he hired me to promote his contest in August of 2007. It was a large contest, $400, but I was able to get his contest listed on nearly 17 blogs. This was before the emergence of contest blogs. Now I could easily double that number and make it closer to 50.

Overall Khalid said “I am very satisfied. Thank you for all the effort.” He even invited me to write a guest post about how I marketed the contest on different blogs entitled How To Effectively Promote a Blog Contest.

This was the first contest promotion job I did. I had previously only promoted my own contests. This would lead to work with Kontera.
